Reflections of One Who Lived

Peacetime. I knew it wouldn’t last forever. But I’ll be long gone by the time another war like that comes up. I’m surprised how much the Saiyan race has welcomed this peace. What with a new leader and all.

Who, me? Naw. I’m not the “government” type. People always act like I was the big hero of destiny and everything. Not even close. I was just the leading general of the great army against Majora. Edward and Alphonse sometimes visit and we talk and stuff. Eventually they make a comment like “I can’t believe we were part of that war.” or “How the heck did we make it through?”

And I always respond by showing the Triforce on the back of my hand. “Someone of a higher power, the Ellimist’s leader, blessed us. He knew that we could do it. He picked out the warriors with the best chance of winning and gave us the opportunity to achieve victory.”

But, as with all wars, not everyone made it home. The true hero was the last casualty, taking Majora with them. I won’t tell you who yet. But will tell you our story. The story of me, Broken, and my friends and allies and the war. My 4 best friends are Shadow the Hedgehog, my little sister Pan, Mia from Planet Weyward, and Link. Yes, that Link, the Hero of Time. People are still having a hard time accepting all the information proving Hyrule and Termina (the planet called “HyliaTerm”) were real and the ruins still exist. Saiyans viewed HyliaTerm like Earthlings view the lost city of Atlantis: A myth and subject for fictional entertainment.

There were others too. Kenshin Himura used to be called “Battousai the Manslayer” until he vowed never to kill. I already mentioned the Elric brothers, alchemists extraordinaire. And who could forget Sora of the Destiny Islands? Two old friends known as Ty the Typhlosion and Boba Fett, the greatest bounty hunter. My adoptive father, Vegeta III, who’s nearly as powerful as Goku (the 2nd strongest Saiyan ever) and became the King of Saiyans eventually. I even met my long-lost adoptive brother, Trunks. Presea still lives in the forests of Sylvealla, chopping down trees and living the quiet life of Tethealla. And there were so many others! Mewtwo, Lloyd Irving and his group, Fayt Leingod, Sakura (who’s still the Cardcaptor and STILL searching for all the cards), Kite, Blackrose, Tsukasa (okay, he’s not very friendly, but he is a friend), Aura, Yuna from the isle of Besaid, and much more!

It’s an honor to have made so many friends. It’s kinda cruel and sick, but I bet you’re wondering which ones lived. We shaped our own lives. Our struggle against Majora and all his minions. We’ve been forever changed.
