In a peaceful town, Broken had some of the geekiest friends around. They always had fun watching anime and playing video games. But as with all peaceful towns, things were about to get really interesting quick. Walking home, he and his girlfriend Saia encounter a meteor strike. It explodes, sending radiation across the town. Eventually, they develop strange abilities. Super powers, if you will. But every power has a price. Now, Broken and his friends Crose, Saia, his sister Reese, and their mutated cat Mitchell must find out the whole truth of exactly what this meteor is. Broken and company known as the Genetics. They realize it wasn’t an explosion, but a discharge. And many alloys are detected inside the space rock. This “meteor” is really a weapon. But who made it and why? Was it the military? Or was it aliens? Or perhaps someone else? And yet even more trouble awaits them: a secret military organization, the government and their conspiracies, and those who abuse their powers.
